Endowed professor of psychotrauma, loss, and grief after disasters and violence, University of Humanistic Studies, The Netherlands. Psychiatrist, associate director of residency training, ARQ National Psychotrauma Centre/ ARQ Centrum'45, The Netherlands. I published about the prevalence, diagnosis, and treatment of PTSD and traumatic grief and stress sensitization. My current research on PTSD and traumatic grief focuses on meaning attribution, epidemiological and cultural aspects, diagnosis, prevention, and treatment.
