Research Interests

My research is interdisciplinary, combining concepts and methods from existentialist phenomenology, age studies, medical humanities, and qualitative research.

My main research focus is on the meaning of older age. I am particularly interested in the embodied, affective, spatial, and temporal experience of older people. In addition, I am interested in notions of queer temporality and (inter-)generativity.
