Personal profile

Personal profile

My PhD research is a participatory action research into moral learning in two care settings: care for veterans with moral injury and care for people with intellectual disabilities. I combine ethnographic fieldwork with meetings in communities of practice, where clients, caregivers, and managers collaboratively reflect on observations, exchange moral perspectives, and explore the question: what makes a good life for someone?

Alongside my research, I teach at the University of the Arts Utrecht in the social design bachelor’s program, where my courses center on creative research skills, ethics, and diversity & inclusion.
