Personal profile

For people who experience a distance to the labour market, occupational daytime activities can be a useful way to spend their day. Some want to make the transition towards (sheltered) work. We investigate how participants themselves experience this transition by looking at economic, socio-cultural and political factors and try to understand this in light of their life story. We are conducting this research in context of the program "Stap voor stap, van dagbesteding naar (beschut) werk" from Instituut Gak.
