Will the Dutch city of Alkmaar soon be flooded by water? Can this be prevented by thinking differently about nature? This project investigates landscape painting from the collection of Stedelijk Museum Alkmaar. Can we gather how people thought about nature by looking at these pictures? Possibly this research offers inspiration and tools.

Staat Alkmaar straks onder water? Is dit te voorkomen door anders over de natuur te denken? Dit project onderzoekt landschapsschilderkunst uit de collectie van Stedelijk Museum Alkmaar.
