Project Details
Description
The core of this research revolves around the question of how attention to the ‘non-verbal voice’ can be strengthened in a vibrant democracy. Governments struggle to hear the non-verbal voice in their desire for better political participation. This project has two main goals. First to connect people with disabilities and their carers with representatives of the municipality of Tilburg. Second, the project will study ways to improve recognition and visibility of the non-verbal voice in processes of democratic decision-making
