Project Details
Description
The European training network "Solidarity in Diversity" (SOLiDi) organizes a training and research program aimed at generating solidarity across cultural boundaries. In doing so, specific places and practices are taken as a starting point.
The SOLiDi network is composed of scholars from sociology, social geography and education studies and a wide range of non-academic partners active in many different sectors. The network will train 15 PhD students in relevant theories, research methods, policy development and organizational change.
The aim is to elaborate a new vision of solidarity that does justice to superdiverse societies and to better equip professionals and organizations with adequate and innovative tools to promote solidarity in diverse societies.
